3 day trip to Devon - Day 1; Exeter

Heading out to catch the train from Clapham Junction to Exeter. The gps shows this as Lavender Street - one street over from Ganley Court.
Stopped at Salisbury Station (3 Old Mill Gardens)enroute to Exeter on South West Trains We were picked up from Exeter, St. Davids Station by the our host and taken to our Bed & Breakfast and seeking advice on the various options for dining out, we walked back into town heading for the Quay.
49B South Street, Exeter.
Down the steps
Then down to the path alongside the old Roman wall
No 4 The Quay, getting close to the Riverside hospitality and recreation area

Looks like a bar over to the left
Recreational kayaks and yachts further back
38 Commercial Road
Apartments across the River Exe
We found a place, the Samuel Jones Smoke and Ale House that would find a table for us, meantime drinks were ordered (£6.95)and we sat outside.
and we had time to look around and notice things like this Pigeon Park, an ideal location for launching a swoop and grab of food on the tables below.
Bridge walkers
OK, a table inside has been found, but hold on a moment, maybe this other table might be better
Beer with bread starters
Dinner is served
