So long ago, it seems now, that we endured Airport Security at Auckland International and boarded an Air NZ flight to Singapore. The start of many long flights in cramped conditions on cattle class.
On my first leg stretching exercise to the toilet I was mildly bemused to see the two toilet rolls side by side, with one roll feeding from the bottom and the other feeding from the top. I'm thinking to myself was this purely random or did one of the Flight Attendants set it up this way to suit both preferences for those people who find such matters important.
Just before arrival I took a photo across to the starboard side, of our fellow passengers, no doubt anticipating turning from sardines back into people again. Photo taken at 11:06am
While waiting to disembark, there being no rush for us, I asked one of the male Flight Attendants if the toilet roll placement was deliberate and he chuckled and said he had placed them and it was purely random.
Once free of the big bird with noisy engines it was a case of following the others to our baggage claim and being from New Zealand I guess it was natural for us to follow like sheep - 11:36am
I note thse photos on the iPhone are labelled Dunman Secondary School?
Initially we were following the aircrew and then noticed a group of school kids and figured their chaperone would guide them to baggage claim.
